  • Hasmik Martirosyan

Hasmik Martirosyan has served as director of 1in.am since 2019, having previously worked as head of the company's marketing department in 2018. According to the company charter, the director is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and has authority to conduct transactions on behalf of the company without additional authorization, provided the transaction value does not exceed 25% of the company's net assets.

Editor-In-Chief
  • Siranush Papyan

Siranush Papyan serves as editor of the online media outlet 1in.am, a position she has held since joining the outlet in 2011. She also reports for the online newspaper lragir.am and "Zhamanak" newspaper, relationships she has maintained since 2009.

Papyan gained public attention in 2016 when she filed a lawsuit against then-Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan for insulting her professional dignity. The incident occurred on April 24 at the Armenian Genocide Memorial, when Papyan questioned the police about promised reforms that the public had not witnessed. In response, Gasparyan made a disparaging remark about her gender, stating he "did not see a woman in her."

The incident drew official condemnation, with then-Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov apologizing on behalf of the authorities for the police chief's behavior. However, the police department issued a contradictory statement denying that Gasparyan had insulted the journalist.

Speaking to media about the lawsuit, Papyan acknowledged having low expectations for the judicial outcome but expressed hope that the case could establish a precedent to deter future official misconduct toward journalists. The court ultimately dismissed the lawsuit, ruling it unfounded.
