The National Network Foundation was established in 2024 as a non-profit organization. The founders are Gayane Manukyan and Davit Grigoryan. According to the beneficial ownership declaration from August 2025, the sole beneficiary is Hrayr Parsumean, the Foundation's director.


On March 7, 2025, by decision of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, ReOpen Media LLC was established as a subsidiary organization. The company was created to generate profit through entrepreneurial activities, with 100% of shares held by the Foundation. Davit Grigoryan, co-founder of the Foundation, serves as executive director of ReOpen Media LLC.


Until July 2025, Gayane Manukyan served as director of ReOpen Media LLC. She then became director of ReOpen Production LLC, another Foundation subsidiary. On October 2, 2025, Manukyan announced her departure from both the National Network Foundation and ReOpen Media LLC.


According to the Foundation's website, its projects include the Media Academy, the Regional Open Media company, which aims to present Armenia's culture, history, and contemporary reality, and ReOpen Generations, the youth branch of ReOpen Media that operates as a news platform run by young people from the regions.

  • Gayane Manukyan

    Gayane Manukyan is co-founder of the National Network Foundation and serves as director of ReOpen Production LLC.

    Manukyan graduated from the Journalism Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University and received a master's degree in film production from the New York Film Academy. She has held professional positions as executive director at Sobesednik publishing house and development director at Yerevan Productions. She specializes in content creation, documentary filmmaking, media management, and corporate social responsibility project development.

    Manukyan served as director of ReOpen Media LLC from its establishment in March 2025 until July 2025, when she transitioned to director of ReOpen Production LLC. On October 2, 2025, she announced via Facebook that she was leaving her positions at the National Network Foundation and ReOpen Media.

Executive Board
  • Yeghishe Kirakosyan

    Yeghishe Kirakosyan serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Network Foundation. He received his legal education at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University and pursued further studies at Georgetown University and Stanford Law School.

    Kirakosyan served as Assistant to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia from 2008 to 2012 and Deputy Minister of Justice from 2012 to 2014. In October 2018, he was appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister, a position he held until March 2025. During his tenure as advisor, he initiated development of the Law On the Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the European Court of Human Rights and presented it to the National Assembly. This legislation established the Office of the Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the European Court of Human Rights. Kirakosyan left his position at his own request in March 2025, stating he wished to focus on academic work.

  • Magda Markosyan

    Magda Markosyan serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Network Foundation. She is a marketing and branding expert and entrepreneur. In 2011, she founded MAROG, a branding and marketing communications company, which she continues to manage.

  • Davit Khumaryan

    Davit Khumaryan serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Network Foundation. He is the younger son of Koryun Khumaryan, founder of Impulse LLC.

    Khumaryan graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the Russian-Armenian University. Following his studies, he worked for nine months on the Armenian Export Catalog project, his only professional experience outside of media and family business.

    According to the State Register of Legal Entities of Armenia, Khumaryan succeeded his father as executive director of Impulse LLC in 2020. He has no prior experience working for other media outlets.

    Khumaryan currently co-hosts Darbinyan's Hour on Gortsarar Aliq radio with Armen Darbinyan, who served as Prime Minister of Armenia from 1998 to 1999. The program covers past, present, and future global events from an Armenian perspective.
