"Skizb Media kentron" LLC was established in 2006 as a media company engaged in advertising distribution services. The company launched its flagship news website, 1in.am, four years later in 2010, creating one of Armenia's prominent online media outlets.

The company is founded and owned by Arman Babajanyan, whose career has spanned religious service, journalism, and politics. His background includes theological education at institutions in Venice and Etchmiadzin, graduating from the Vazgenian and Gevorgian Seminaries in 1998, as well as advanced degrees from institutions in Russia and the United States, including Georgetown University's School of Security Studies in 2005.

Babajanyan's media career began with founding "Zhamanak" newspaper in Los Angeles in 2003, later establishing "Zhamanak Yerevan" in 2006. He served as founding editor of the "1in.am. First News" website from 2010 to 2019. His media activities were interrupted in 2006 when he was sentenced to four years in prison for military service evasion.

In 2018, he was elected to the National Assembly on the national electoral list of the "Bright Armenia" party. But in 2019, Arman Babajanyan announced that he was leaving the "Bright Armenia" faction. Later, he continued his activities as an independent deputy. He founded the "For the Republic" party in 2020 and participated in the 2021 snap elections as part of the "Shirinyan-Babajanyan Democrats Alliance." He remains active in pro-Western advocacy, including collecting signatures for an EU membership referendum in 2024 and organising protests against Russian military presence in Armenia, including a demonstration against the 102nd military base in Gyumri in August 2025.
