Astghik Sargsyan

Astghik Sargsyan is a founder of Nor Hayastan television company and currently owns 50% of the company's shares, a position she holds alongside co-owner Robert Oghlakhchyan. Sargsyan also holds 50% ownership in Mo TV Media Holding CJSC, the company that holds the broadcast license for Nor Hayastan and was founded in 2000.
Astghik Sargsyan is the daughter of Artem Sargsyan, a well-known television presenter and former editor-in-chief of Armenia TV, and the sister of Bagrat Sargsyan, who is prominent in the television business. Her brother Bagrat founded several media outlets in Armenia, including Armenia TV and Armnews TV companies, and later established USArmenia TV in the United States in 2008, which became the largest Armenian television channel in the country.
According to state registry data, Sargsyan held shares in E.V. television company from 2010 to 2013. The other shareholder in E.V. television company was Benet Group Inc., a company registered in the Virgin Islands. According to a 2010 report by the Yerevan Press Club, Benet Group Inc. belonged to Mikayel Minasyan, son-in-law of Serzh Sargsyan, and Arthur Janibekyan, founder of Comedy Club Production.
