The Galajyan family holds 24% ownership in Iravunk Media LLC. This stake underwent a change in documentation following the death of Hovhannes Galajyan in January 2024. The beneficial ownership declaration published in February 2025 lists 24% as belonging to Hovhannes Galajyan despite his death. However, a December 2024 amendment to the charter of Iravunk Media LLC removed Hovhannes Galajyan's name and redistributed the stake to Arman Galajyan (patronymic: Hovhannes) at 6% and Nvard Grigoryan at 18%. According to the State Register of Legal Entities of Armenia, all three individuals were registered at the same address.

Hovhannes Galajyan (1963-2024) served as editor-in-chief of Iravunk newspaper from its founding in 1989 until his death in 2024, with certain interruptions. He was a member of the Constitutional Right Union party since 1988 and served on the party presidency. During the 2007 split within the Constitutional Right Union, Galajyan sided with party vice-chairman Hayk Babukhanyan and co-founded the splinter newspaper Iskakan Iravunk (Real Right). He and director Gegham Grigoryan filed suit demanding reinstatement to their positions at the original Iravunk. The court ruled in their favor on November 20, 2007, and when Iravunk resumed publication on June 3, 2008, Galajyan returned as editor-in-chief.
